What are Festoons?
Festoons are more than your average under eye bag. This problem goes beyond. Typically, puffiness on the upper or lower eyelids is an age-related condition. As we lose collagen and elastin, the delicate skin around the eyes becomes ultra-thin, and barely supports the fat pads beneath. Festoons could be called secondary bags, because they sit below the primary bag, on the upper cheek. Because festoons counterbalance bags, it is quite possible that their appearance would look more pronounced if they are not reduced in the right manner.

Why Does this Matter?
