Eye Care Cosmetics in Amarillo, TX

As we age, the delicate skin around our eyes often reveals the first signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and puffiness. At W. John W. Murrell, M.D. Ophthalmology and Oculoplastic Surgery, we understand the desire to maintain a youthful appearance and the confidence that comes with it.

Dr. Murrell and the team specialize in a range of ophthalmology services, including cosmetic eye care solutions. With our expertise in eye anatomy and care, you can trust us to provide safe and effective treatments for this sensitive area.

Botox® for Around the Eyes

For those seeking to diminish deep wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes, Botox® is a highly effective solution. We offer Botox injections to specifically target areas like frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and crow’s feet. Botox works by relaxing the muscles that cause these lines, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance. Treatments are quick and typically last about three months.

Dr. Murrell hosts a special “Botox Day” every three months on a Wednesday afternoon, making it convenient for our patients to maintain their rejuvenated look. The cost includes a unit price plus an injection fee. With Botox, you can enjoy a refreshed appearance without the need for invasive procedures.

Eyelid Surgery Scar Treatment

If you’ve undergone eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and are concerned about scarring, try our affordable scar cream to enhance your healing process. Apply this cream twice a day after your sutures are removed and you’re no longer using antibiotic ointment. For the best results, we can inject this treatment directly into the scarred area every six weeks as needed. We aim to ensure your scars heal beautifully, leaving you with smoother, less noticeable marks.

Eyelid Cleanser for Redness and Inflammation

Blepharitis, a common eyelid condition, can cause redness, inflammation, and discomfort. To combat this, we recommend Avenova, a highly effective eyelid cleanser. Avenova eliminates bacteria and toxins in the oil glands, reducing inflammation and promoting healthier eyelids. Use Avenova twice daily as part of your regular eye care routine for best results.

Get Luscious Eyelashes

Long, lush eyelashes can significantly enhance the beauty of your eyes. AlphaLash is a powerful eyelash growth serum fortified with:

  • Peptides to stimulate growth
  • Biotin to prevent dryness and thinning
  • Pumpkin seed extract to nourish and fortify the hairs.

AlphaLash also contains sodium hyaluronate, a form of hyaluronic acid that helps condition and moisturize your eyelashes, ensuring they remain healthy and strong. This over-the-counter product is available at our office for your convenience.
